How much does a flyer or door-drop campaign cost?
The cost of a flyer campaign depends on three things: volume, channel, mailboxes or hand to hand, and city. The number that matters is not the price per flyer, it is the cost per customer, and the calculator gives you that in three steps.
What sets the price
Three factors move the price up or down. Knowing them helps you read any quote, from Carto or from anyone else.
Volume
The more flyers you distribute, the lower the cost per unit. Door-drop pricing falls as volume grows. Hand to hand is priced by team-day, so more days lower the cost per flyer.
Channel
Door drop places the flyer in the home mailbox. Hand to hand puts it directly in a person's hand. Each channel has its own pace and its own minimum order.
City
Team cost varies by city. Barcelona has a different team-day rate than our other cities. Carto operates in Spain's 10 largest cities.
The minimum orders
25,000
mailboxes for door drop
10,000
flyers for hand to hand
These volumes are not arbitrary. They give the dashboard enough density for the data to be comparable across zones and time slots. Below those volumes, the measured response is too small to draw reliable conclusions. At the minimum, you can already see which zone responds best and at what time.
How the price is set
Carto does not publish a fixed rate card. Price depends on volume, channel and city, and we give it to you after a short call or a WhatsApp message.
For hand to hand, price is calculated per team-day. A team of two distributes between 1,200 and 1,500 flyers a day. The number of days needed depends on the total volume you order. For door drop, price is calculated per mailbox, and the rate per mailbox falls as order volume grows.
Traditional distributors in Spain usually quote per thousand flyers, with no proof and no data. You pay and trust that it happened. Our clients have accepted paying several times the traditional price for the same volume, because in exchange they get measurement: they know which zone responded, at what time, and what each new customer cost them.
What the price includes
It is not a separate cost added later. Every Carto campaign includes:
The metric that matters: cost per customer
Price per flyer does not tell you whether the campaign worked. What matters is what each new customer cost you, and that depends on your response rate and your conversion rate, not only on the distribution price.
- Door drop in Poblenou: 4.1% measured response.
- Hand to hand in Big Fun Museum and Molan Los 90: between 3.3% and 4.8% measured response.
These figures vary by zone, message and sector, so treat them as a reference, not a promise. To see what to expect in your case, use the calculator. Enter your current cost per lead and your conversion rate, and in three steps you get an estimate of your cost per customer with Carto. You do not need to talk to anyone to see it.

How much does a flyer campaign cost with Carto?
Price depends on volume, channel and city, so we do not publish a fixed rate. Request a quote or use the calculator to estimate your cost per customer before you talk to us.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 25,000 mailboxes for door drop and 10,000 flyers for hand to hand. These are the volumes at which the dashboard has enough data to compare zones and time slots.
Why doesn't Carto publish per-flyer prices?
Because the real cost depends on too many variables: volume, channel, city and the zones you choose. A per-flyer price published without context does not tell you whether the campaign pays off. The number that actually matters, cost per customer, you calculate in the calculator with your own numbers.
Is it more expensive than a traditional distributor?
It can look that way if you only compare price per thousand. But a traditional distributor gives you no proof of delivery and no response data. Our clients have accepted paying several times that price for the same volume, because with Carto they know which zone responded and what each customer cost them.
How do I calculate cost per customer before launching a campaign?
You calculate it in the calculator, in three steps: your current cost per lead, how many out of ten leads buy, and the channel you want to use. The calculator gives you an instant estimate of your cost per customer with Carto.
