Built to scale.
Proven on the street.
Carto is Europe's 1st enterprise offline marketing platform. We built the whole stack, planned routes, GPS verification, QR attribution and a live dashboard, then proved it campaign by campaign on the ground before opening it city by city across Spain.
It started at the doors of MWC, in Barcelona
Carto was born just outside Mobile World Congress. Among thousands of companies fighting for attention on a screen, one simple idea would not leave us alone: marketing's oldest channel, a flyer in the right hand, still worked. But nobody could prove it.
We had seen too many campaigns paid for upfront that ended in a bin, without a single proof the distribution ever happened. Online we measure every click; off the screen, we trusted blindly.
So we built the platform: trained distributors, planned routes, GPS verification, QR scans and photo proof of every delivery. Then we made an unusual decision for a young company: not to sell citywide coverage until the engine was proven. Small measurable campaigns first, with real clients paying for real results.
Five campaigns to prove the engine
In four months we have served five clients. Each campaign stressed a different part of the system: route planning, verification on the ground, response attribution and operating away from home. These are results measured in the platform, not sector estimates.
Hand to hand · Cadiz
4.8%
verified response
6,000 flyers in 4 days for a festival, with 289 logged responses. It proved real-time attribution and coordinating a crew deployed outside Barcelona.
Door drop · Poblenou
4.1%
verified response
5,000 letterboxes covered street by street in one week. Responses kept arriving for nine weeks: it proved systematic coverage and the residual value of paper.
Event · Barcelona
345
leads in 2.5 days
High volume in a very short window, combining hand to hand and door drop. It proved the system holds its traceability under peak intensity.
What it proved
- Planned routes that cover a whole zone with no overlaps and no gaps
- Verification that survives an audit: GPS route, geolocated photo and timestamp for every delivery
- Real attribution from paper to response, with data by zone and by time of day
- An operation that travels: we ran Cadiz to the same standard of proof as Barcelona
A new category, not another distributor
Europe has hundreds of companies that distribute printed advertising, and some of them are very good at it. What did not exist is a platform where distribution is also a data source: every route recorded by GPS, every delivery with a photo and a timestamp, and every response attributed to the zone and the time of day it happened. That is the category we defined, and it is why we say we are the first.
In practice it means offline marketing lands in your analytics like any digital campaign. Every campaign carries its own QR and its own link with UTM parameters, per district and per day if you need it. The visits, signups and sales that come from paper show up in your Google Analytics, your CRM or your attribution dashboard with a source, a medium and a campaign, right next to Meta and Google. You can compare the letterbox cost per lead with your paid campaigns in the same table.
None of this asks you to change your stack. We generate the links and the codes; you plug them into wherever you already measure.
- Dedicated QR and UTM link per campaign, district and shift
- Dynamic QR: change the destination without reprinting
- Paper traffic appears in your analytics with source, medium and campaign
- GPS route, photo proof and timestamp for every delivery, exportable
Scaling city by city
The platform is already mapped for the ten largest cities in Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza, Seville, Malaga, Murcia, Palma, Las Palmas and Alicante. Each one district by district, with official INE data on households, population, average age and income, and a price you can check yourself in the simulator without talking to us. Operations scale on a slower clock than data: covering a whole city is a programme of months, not a burst, and it needs a standing crew on the ground. So we open one city at a time and work with one partner per category while we are there. Barcelona is first, and it is the city we know street by street.
Simulate your coverageOur own infrastructure
We do not subcontract distribution. Our own trained crew, our own platform, our own data. When something goes wrong on the street, we fix it the same day.
Everything provable
GPS route, geolocated photo proof and QR scan for every delivery. The internal rule is simple: if it is not in the dashboard, it did not happen.
From one district to a whole city
The same engine covers 25,000 letterboxes in a single district or every household in a city. What changes is the calendar and the number of crews, not the method or the standard of proof.
